TDO Design is led by Ben Marlow a Chartered Architectural Technologist and Chartered Construction Manager with over 25 years’ experience delivering residential, commercial, rural and heritage projects across Devon, Somerset and Dorset.

Planning Applications
We prepare clear, well-considered planning applications across residential, rural and commercial projects, including retrospective planning applications. We manage the process from initial feasibility and design development through to submission and determination, liaising directly with planning and conservation officers throughout.
Building Regulations & Technical Design
Preparing detailed Building Regulations drawings and specifications and submissions to Building Control. This enables accurate pricing and compliant construction. We develop buildable solutions that respond to site constraints and project budgets.
Listed Building Consent Applications
LBC applications are complex. We prepare clear, well-considered Listed Building Consent applications for extensions, alterations, conversions. We manage the process from feasibility and design through to submission and liaison with the Local Authority and Conservation Officer.
Contract Administration & Project Management
Complete client support during construction through contract administration or full project management. We help procure contractors, sub-contractors and specialist suppliers, prepare a detailed breakdown of costs, oversee works on site and manage delivery to achieve quality, cost control and programme objectives.
