Village Hall
We were appointed by the committee to deliver a Building Regulations package for a new oak-framed village hall, replacing an ageing Nissen hut on the site.
This project involved the renovation of a Grade II listed cob and thatched farmhouse, purchased by the client at auction. Having supported the client through several property viewings, we identified the building as an excellent opportunity for a sensitive and high-quality refurbishment.
We provided a full service from Listed Building Consent through to Building Regulations, alongside ongoing project management support during construction. The works presented a number of significant structural challenges, typical of historic buildings of this nature, which were carefully addressed as the project progressed.
The completed scheme successfully restores the character of the original farmhouse while delivering a high standard of accommodation, resulting in a truly impressive transformation.
